Religious Emblems All Faiths All Den Levels The Boy Scouts of American along with all many faiths have recognized that some who show and participate in faith should have a recognition of it. It is thru the faith and BSA that we are able to provide this emblem. BSA has over 102 different faith emblems. The first thing a scout must do is to find his faith and den level. Then he must see if there is an award he can earn. This can be done by calling a Religious Emblems Counselor (see below). A Scout must belong to a congregation and have his Pastor’s approval before starting this emblem. He must be up to date on any and all sacraments of his faith. Then with the help of his parents, Religious Emblems Counselor, and religious mentor he will be able to complete the book required of his faith.
